Apple silicon MacBook Pro recovery
Apple silicon MacBook Pros are used by designers, developers, video editors and musicians, and often hold large projects that were never fully backed up. Their storage is soldered to the logic board and encrypted by the Secure Enclave in the M-series chip, so the only way to reach the data is through the Mac’s own board.

Frequently asked questions
Can you recover data from a MacBook Pro that Apple says is beyond repair?
Often, yes. Apple usually replaces the whole board, which destroys the data. We repair the original board instead.
How do I find my model number?
It’s printed in small text on the underside of the Mac, starting with ‘A’ – for example A2442.
