Samsung 970 EVO Plus, 980 PRO, 990 PRO or a laptop PM-series SSD failed? We recover every Samsung M.2 NVMe SSD.
Samsung’s M.2 NVMe drives are fitted to gaming PCs, workstations and – as OEM models such as the PM981 and PM9A1 – to many Dell, HP and Lenovo laptops. In 2023, firmware faults on some 980 PRO and 990 PRO drives caused their health to drop rapidly and some drives to become read-only or fail. Samsung released firmware updates, but many drives had already lost data.
NVMe drives run hot and store data in a way that needs specialist tools to reconstruct. We handle firmware repair, controller faults and board damage in-house.

After a free initial consultation, we identify the controller and firmware state of your SSD. Firmware and board faults are repaired with professional PC-3000 SSD equipment so the drive can be read; where the controller has failed completely, the flash memory is read directly and the data reassembled. We then rebuild the file system and check your files. Stop using an SSD as soon as data goes missing – TRIM can erase deleted data within minutes.
