How we recover your laptop
Every job starts with a free initial consultation to find out whether the fault is physical or logical. Physical drive faults then go through a clean room diagnostic. For laptops with a removable drive we recover the drive directly; where the storage is soldered to the motherboard, we repair the board so the data can be copied off. Your files are checked before they are returned.

Do I need to send the whole laptop?
For most models the drive alone is enough. Send the whole laptop with its charger if the storage is soldered to the motherboard or you’re not sure.
My HP laptop says ‘Hard Disk 3F0’. Can you help?
Yes. Error 3F0 means the laptop can’t find a bootable drive – the drive may have failed or become disconnected. We’ll diagnose it and recover your data.
